About us

Paws Pet Resort is a comprehensive boarding, day care, and grooming facility located at 3415 Couch Street in Houston, just east of Ella and north of 34th street in the Garden Oaks/Oak Forest area.

Our location and easy access to 610, 290 and 45 make us the perfect place for doggy daycare or for boarding drop-off on the way out of town.

AWARDS

We have won #1 for boarding/doggie daycare and grooming in the The Leader News' Readers Choice awards for 7 years in a row.

However, our favorite type of recognition is the number of recommendations we receive in our community.

When a member of our Oak Forest/ Garden Oaks community posts a question about "where should I take my dog for doggie daycare or boarding" on social media, the outpouring of recommendations for Paws is humbling.

Those recommendations are a direct result of our focused customer service and love for what we do. Our customers truly feel like their pets are our pets.

DOGGIE DAY CARE

Paws is most widely known for our outstanding doggie day care. While a dog is with us for day care they get to play with others, socialize, run, rest, and play. They leave each day tired, happy and loved.

BOARDING

Boarding kennels are available in a variety of sizes, for short and long term boarding. All dogs that are boarding get out of their pens 4-6x per day at no additional charge, for interaction with a staff member and/or with other dogs if they pass their temperament test.

If you are boarding multiple dogs, they can share a large kennel so they have their companion with them. We also offer luxury suites with cameras so you can keep an eye on your furry friend.

We also board your furry felines! If they are sociable with other cats, they enjoy our open cattery room which includes climbing posts and windows where they can cat nap.

GIVING BACK to the RESCUE COMMUNITY

We work with a number of local rescue groups including Scout's Honor Rescue, Friends of Barc, Houston Chow Chow Connection and many more, to help care for dogs that are waiting for their forever homes.

We host adoption days, performs temperament testing, and can arrange transportation for dogs to visit a local veterinarian as needed. We maintain a quarantine protocol and separate boarding area for dogs coming directly out of the shelter. 501C3 dog rescues receive reduced boarding rates.

There is nothing like helping a living being transition from helpless and ragged to happy and loved in a new home, knowing we played a significant role in that.
